Software Engineering Internship at Databento

This is a 10-week internship (with possible extension) starting in early June and ending in late August 2025. The internship is fully remote, allowing you to work from your preferred location and timezone or in Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects across the entire technology stack, ranging from frontend UIs to backend APIs.
• Work on projects that align with your background and interests.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers on challenging and impactful tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with C++ or Python, preferably outside of coursework.
• A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including operating systems, computer architecture, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for working at a fast-growing fintech company.

Bonus points:

• Knowledge of market microstructure or market data.
