Job Description:
Snowflake offers paid, full-time internships for students in the software industry. What We Expect:
• Active enrollment in an accredited college/university.
• Desired class level: 3rd/4th year Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD.
• Desired majors: Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field.
• Required Coursework: Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems.
• Recommended Coursework: Database systems, Distributed systems.
• Excellent programming skills in Python or Java.
• Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) and Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving and quick learning abilities.
• Teamwork experience.
• Dedication and passion for technology.
What You Will Learn/Gain:
• Building enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services.
• Exposure to SQL and/or other database technologies.
• Understanding of database internals, large-scale data processing, and data warehouse design.
• Delivering quality software in a large distributed system, emphasizing functional and performance automation, workloads, and testing.
• Building automation frameworks and infrastructure to improve development workflow efficiency.
• Working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform).

Timing:
• Fall 2025
• Eligible start dates: August 15, September 12
• Eligible end dates: November 7, December 19
• Duration: Minimum 12 weeks, recommended 16 weeks (maximum 12 months)
Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $42.00 – $60.00 per hour. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
