Job Description: Software Engineering Intern
Industrial Scientific seeks a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to building software features for safety improvement products. The ideal candidate possesses experience across the software stack, demonstrating a solid understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and back-end languages.
Responsibilities:
• Build scalable, efficient, stable, and extensible software components.
• Write robust, secure, and efficient code meeting specified requirements.
• Implement unit testing for adequate test coverage.
• Create and update system technical and functional documentation.
• Design, develop, and deliver software applications supporting mission-critical products.
Qualifications:
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, .NET Core, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience designing and building front-end applications using React (other JavaScript frameworks like Next.js are a plus).
• Knowledge of Javascript and Typescript programming languages.
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
