About the Job (Software Engineering Intern):
This 12-week summer internship program is based in the Santa Monica office. Interns will participate in a combination of team sprint work and a dedicated project. The goal is to develop high-quality, high-performance code, learn to consider trade-offs, iterate on solutions, and expand on scope and scalability. Interns will gain specialization in one of the following areas: Big Data, Full Stack, Machine Learning, Mobile – iOS, or Mobile – Android.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Participate in the full life cycle of user-facing applications at scale, from design and implementation to testing and production.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business, industry, codebase, and/or systems.
• Write, test, instrument, and deploy high-quality code with good test coverage, utilizing modern abstractions and frameworks within a Kubernetes environment.
• Contribute to the innovation and evolution of the ZipRecruiter product.
• Support job seekers, employers, and internal developers.
