Internship Description
This 12-week Summer 2025 Software Engineering internship program offers a unique opportunity to join either Salesforce or Slack and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions. You will be working alongside a team of world-class engineers, gaining hands-on experience with architecture, design, implementation, and testing. You will be assigned real projects that directly impact the company’s products, making a tangible contribution while receiving valuable mentorship.
What you will be doing:
• Collaborate with and contribute to your assigned team.
• Work on real projects and make a meaningful impact.
• Receive mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Gain exposure to the company’s culture and values.
• Access resources and events for professional and personal growth.
• Participate in global onboarding, engineering-specific training, and intern-specific onboarding.
• Attend events like Executive Speaker Series, Volunteer Time Off, Workshops, and Socials.
• Receive regular check-ins and support from recruiters.
• Participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
• Network with employees across the company, including senior executives.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled and working towards a BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be returning to school the following quarter/semester to complete your degree.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proven ability to implement these concepts efficiently in code.
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals and their application in coding.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and associated frameworks.
• Working knowledge of HTML and web technologies.
• Familiarity with front-end and back-end languages.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas through writing, diagrams, and verbally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to quality and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Relocation Assistance:
Salesforce offers relocation assistance to help interns with the transition to their new roles. This includes a lump sum payment to cover moving, travel, and accommodation expenses.
