Software Engineering Internship
As a Qualcomm Software Engineering Intern, you will:
• Push the boundaries of existing technologies: Contribute to the development and maintenance of software for cutting-edge wireless devices.
• Be a part of a world-class team: Collaborate with experienced engineers to innovate and solve complex problems.
• Make an immediate impact: Leverage your computer science or engineering degree to contribute to the software development lifecycle of Qualcomm’s various technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement software for Qualcomm’s wireless devices.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development of new features and technologies.
• Collaborate with other engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
Minimum Currently pursuings:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Available for 11-14 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-September), with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages C, C++, or Python.
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Extensive programming experience in C/C++.
• Experience with object-oriented software design and development.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and networking protocols.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and multi-core/multi-processor systems.
• Expertise in system performance optimization and complex software debugging.
• Knowledge of modeling concepts (e.g., discrete event simulation, polyglot programming).
• Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., bridging, routing), particularly in Linux.
• Candidates with anticipated graduation within the upcoming year (Dec 2025 to June 2026) are preferred.
