Software Engineering Internship at Salesforce

This 12-week summer internship program offers hands-on experience building breakthrough features for Salesforce’s AI-driven cloud computing platform. You’ll work with a team of world-class engineers to build products customers trust and love.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to real projects and make an impact.
• Collaborate and learn from experienced engineers.
• Gain experience in architecture, design, implementation, and testing.
• Participate in global onboarding, engineering-specific training, and intern-specific onboarding.
• Attend events like Executive Speaker Series, Volunteer Time Off, Workshops, and Socials.
• Receive mentorship and support from recruiters and team members.
• Participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
• Network with employees across the company.

Qualifications:

Required:

U.S. Citizen (born or naturalized) operating on U.S. Soil with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government.
• Enrolled and working towards obtaining a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be returning to school the following quarter/semester to work towards completing their degree.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures.
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and how to apply them to code.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, GoLang.

Preferred:

• General knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills (written, visual, verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Self-starter with strong motivation.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
