What You’ll Do:
• Cross-functional projects: Work on projects collaborating directly with other engineers.
• Code reviews and designs: Provide meaningful feedback on code reviews and technical designs.
• System reliability: Ensure the systems your team operates continue running well and scale to meet user needs.
• Project ownership: Build skills to own projects from start to finish, learning project management and technical leadership.

Who You Are:
• Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or a related field (obtained by summer 2025 or equivalent work experience).
• Experience and familiarity with programming through side projects or classwork (languages: Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go).
• Experience from internships or working on multi-person coding projects (university or professional setting).
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and mentorship.
• Preferred qualifications:
• Specialized knowledge in areas like frontend technologies or HTTP request handling.
• Experience in code review practices and safely updating production systems.
• Familiarity with navigating large code bases.
Hybrid work at Stripe:
• Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of their time in their local office or with users, balancing in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Pay and benefits:
• The annual US base salary range for this role is $122,100 – $134,400.
• Other benefits may include: equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
