Teledyne LeCroy Inc., located in Chestnut Ridge, NY, manufactures high-performance electronic test and measurement equipment.
Job Description:
Teledyne LeCroy is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Co-op student to join their team in Chestnut Ridge, NY (Rockland County, NY). As a member of a cross-functional team, the Co-op student will be responsible for writing test cases/scripts that verify the functionality and performance of Teledyne LeCroy’s products. The engineer must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, both alone and on teams, on projects of diverse scope.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results.
• Collaborating with engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Identifying opportunities to incorporate test automation and quality practices into the product development process.
• Developing and analyzing automated test scripts (nightly scripts).
• Developing new test cases for a new generation oscilloscope.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Programming experience with scripting languages (such as VBScript, Python) is required.
• Strong personal time management expertise, with the ability to make and meet commitments and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively transfer information in a timely manner within a culturally diverse environment.
Salary Range: $49,300.00-$65,700.00
