Internship – Software Engineer, Media Path Simulation
Department: R&D, Wide Format Printers (Colorado Roll2Roll & Arizona Flatbed)
Job Description:
This internship offers a chance to contribute to the development of innovative Wide Format printers, like the Colorado Roll2Roll and Arizona Flatbed. You will be working within the Media Handling function, a multidisciplinary team comprised of engineers from various specialties.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Updating the Media Path Simulation: This involves creating a new graphical view that accurately reflects the printer being developed, combining functionalities from existing simulators for previous printers, and implementing additional functionalities that will be specified under NDA.
• Software Development: You will be using C++, UML, Scrum, XML, XSL, and Eclipse to develop and implement the simulation functionalities.
• Analyzing Simulation Data: You will be responsible for analyzing device logging and simulation parameters to understand the simulated behavior and contribute to verification.
• Collaboration: You will be working closely with other software engineers, as well as engineers from other disciplines within the Media Handling function, to ensure successful implementation of the simulation.
