Software Engineer Internship Program
This 1-year internship program is designed to develop talented individuals into elite Software Engineers at Salesforce. It offers hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare interns for a successful career in software development.
Software Engineer Intern – IT Applications Role
As a Software Engineer Intern in IT Applications, you will be part of a team developing functionality primarily built on a Salesforce Sales Cloud implementation. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and architects to develop features and maintain applications that meet the needs of a global sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build applications on the Salesforce platform
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications
• Participate in product and feature design with product teams and business partners
• Plan, design, and enhance automation frameworks, utilities, and tools
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and product owners for product delivery
What you’ll learn:
• Key software development tools, Salesforce/Mulesoft platform and related products

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• Enrolled and working towards a BS in Computer Science or related field
• Intermediate/advanced English skills
• Availability to work 30 hours per week at the Mexico City offices (2/3 times a week on-site)
• Experience with Object Oriented programming
• Experience implementing technical projects
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with relational database languages
• Experience with web services integration through SOAP or REST
• Basic understanding of web application security
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Bonus skills:
• General experience with the Salesforce platform
• Familiarity working in a Continuous Deployment pipeline
