Job Description
The role is for a Software Engineer Intern/Co-op at SoloPulse Corp.
Job Summary:
As a Software Engineer Intern/Co-op, you will play a critical role in the development of SoloPulse’s software solutions. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, from algorithm development to frontend-backend integration.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
• Implement and maintain both frontend and backend components of SoloPulse’s applications.
• Develop and optimize algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Engineer low-latency solutions to proprietary computational operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define software requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field from an accredited 4-year university.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Familiarity with embedded and real-time systems programming.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design paradigms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to take ownership of projects and work autonomously.
Preferred:
• A strong portfolio of personal software or hardware-related projects.
• Familiarity with the CUDA toolkit and associated programming practices.
• Familiarity with GPU-accelerated libraries such as PyTorch and OpenGL/ThreeJS.
