Job Description: Front-Office Technology Intern
CCI is building a cutting-edge front-office technology platform. This platform will support data access and analytics through APIs, visualization tools, reporting, and associated toolkits to enhance the firm’s robust analytics framework.
This internship provides the opportunity to work on projects related to API-driven development and other supporting processes and frameworks. You’ll gain significant exposure to the commercial investment teams and contribute to a vital part of their investment process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with commercial trading teams to understand existing workflows, gather functional and technical requirements for new processes, and learn the investment process.
• Develop APIs to facilitate data access for commercial trading teams.
• Assist in developing visualization and reporting tools for business analytics using platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and in-house tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows.
• Partner with the Data Science team to create next-generation analytic tools, including machine-learning driven platforms and code sets.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study.
• Expected graduation date of Winter 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated attention to detail.
• Experience in Python/Java and SQL.
• Passion for technology, including programming, cloud-based technologies, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of users.
