Job Description
This is an Intern Role specifically intended for current students, with internship dates running from August to December. The program aims to enhance the intern’s overall learning experience, help build their professional network, and accelerate their ability to make an impact within Oracle’s Corporate Architecture organization.
What You’ll Do:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be expected to:
• Solve challenging and unique problems using your expertise and passion.
• Design and build innovative new systems from the ground up.
• Write code, complete programming projects, and perform testing and debugging of Oracle software.
• Work on cutting-edge technologies within a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities / Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs):
To be considered for this Software Engineer Intern position in the Oracle Health – Connected Devices team, candidates must meet the following objective minimum qualifications:
• Currently eligible to work in the United States AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is a precondition of employment, and Oracle will not sponsor for this position.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
• Proficient (able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in all the following programming languages: JavaScript, C/C++, Java.
• Completed coursework, projects, internships, and/or research in three or more of the following areas: Data Structures/Algorithms, Internet of Things, Computer Networking, Compilers, Computer Architecture, Database.
• Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
