Job Title: Software Engineer Intern
Job Summary:
The Software Engineer Intern at PENTAX Medical Americas will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of medical device software systems specifically for endoscopic imaging. This position supports an established medical device leader preparing for significant growth.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team or independently to design, develop, and test software, including applications, services, and Windows components.
• Diagnose, debug, and correct software discrepancies or issues.
• Engage in cross-department collaboration with the design team to ensure commitments are delivered within specified deadlines.
• Participate in software verification and validation processes.
• Maintain engineering specifications and other technical documentation.
• Adhere to quality management systems and operate effectively within a regulated environment.
• Identify and provide areas of improvement on the development systems and associated lifecycle processes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in programming and algorithm skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop presentations and effectively present ideas.
