About the Job

This is an Intern Role for a Software Engineer Intern within Oracle’s Corporate Architecture organization, specifically focusing on the Oracle Health – Connected Devices team.

Role Type: Internship, intended for current students.
Internship Dates: August – December.

The Program:
Oracle’s internship program aims to recruit best-in-class, early-in-career talent to power next-generation services and solutions. It’s designed to enhance the intern’s overall learning experience, help build their professional network, and accelerate their ability to create a significant impact within the company. Interns will work in and across multiple teams within the Corporate Architecture organization, involving students from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate programs with diverse skills and experiences.

What You’ll Do:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be expected to:
• Solve challenging and unique problems.
• Design and build innovative new systems from the ground up.
• Write code and complete programming projects.
• Perform testing and debugging of Oracle software.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and agile environment.
• Tackle real-world problems.

Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs):
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is a precondition of employment; Oracle will not sponsor for this position.
• Must be able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Must have completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
• Must be proficient (able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in all the following programming languages:
• JavaScript
• C/C++
• Java
• Must have completed coursework, projects, internships, and/or research in three or more of the following areas:
• Data Structures/Algorithms
• Internet of Things
• Computer Networking
• Compilers
• Computer Architecture
• Database
• Must reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hiring Range (US): From $19.62 to $38.32 per hour, or $40,800 to $79,700 per annum. Salary placement within this broad range depends on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, location, and internal peer equity.
