Job Description

This is an Intern Role specifically designed for current students, with internship dates set from August to December.

What You’ll Do:
Oracle is seeking elite students with the expertise and passion for tackling challenging and unique problems. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be expected to:
• Use your knowledge and creativity to design and build innovative new systems from the ground up.
• Be actively involved in writing code, completing programming projects.
• Perform testing and debugging of Oracle software.
• Work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, agile environment to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities (Objective Minimum Qualifications – OMQs):
To be considered for this Software Engineer Intern position within the Oracle Health – Connected Devices team, candidates must meet the following objective minimum qualifications:
Work Authorization: Must be currently eligible to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is a precondition of employment, as Oracle will not sponsor for this position. Candidates should be able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
Education:
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Must have completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
Programming Proficiency: Must be proficient (able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in all of the following programming languages:
JavaScript
C/C++
Java
Coursework/Experience: Must have completed coursework, projects, internships, and/or research in three or more of the following areas:
• Data Structures/Algorithms
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Computer Networking
• Compilers
• Computer Architecture
• Database
Location: Must reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.

Salary Information (US):
The hiring range for this role is $19.62 to $38.32 per hour, or $40,800 to $79,700 per annum. Salary placement within this range depends on knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, location, and internal peer equity.
