Job Title: Software Engineer Intern
Job Summary: As a Software Engineer Intern at Nowadays, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing their AI platform for corporate event planning. This involves working on both frontend and backend systems, contributing to the core technical foundations as well as the AI engine of the product. The ultimate goal is to simplify event planning through automation.
Responsibilities:
• Core Technical Foundations: You will be responsible for building the foundational technical elements of the platform, including the frontend architecture and backend APIs.
• Performance and Reliability Optimization: Work on optimizing the entire stack for performance and reliability, covering everything from databases to the frontend.
• AI Engine Contribution: Directly contribute to the core AI engine by helping develop the automation models that power the platform.
• Developer Experience Improvement: Enhance engineering tooling and developer experience to increase the overall velocity and efficiency of the team.
• Enablement for Product Engineers: Build robust components and APIs that Product Engineers need, thereby enabling their work and contributions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Education: You must be a current student or a new graduate pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a graduation date of Spring 2026 or earlier.
• Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience building projects (including class or personal projects) using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, or Python.
• Database Knowledge: Possess foundational knowledge of SQL databases.
• Work Ethic & Growth: You take pride in your work, are motivated to learn, and eager to grow professionally.
• Environment Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
