The Boeing Korea Summer Internship program offers an opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain industry experience working for Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company. The program is based at the Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) in ASEM Tower (Samsung-dong) and is typically a 3-6 month program.
The company is seeking enthusiastic candidates with expertise and interest in supporting embedded & system software projects by designing, developing and testing software functions for aviation software solutions. Interns will assist with documenting and building software functional requirements and will work as part of an international team where English is the common language.
This internship is open to BS, MS, and PhD students, recent graduates, and those expected to graduate in 2024 or early 2025, majoring in computer science or engineering or related studies. Candidates should have a solid understanding of computer science/engineering fundamentals (e.g., data structure, software design, algorithms) and coding experience in computer languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java). Strong English communication skills (read and write), creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills are essential. Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and expanding their skillsets.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Agile for software engineering, experience in development environments such as Git CI/DevOps tools, and knowledge and experience with avionics software components.
