Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking an early career Software Engineer to join their team in King of Prussia, PA. This role involves developing and testing software as part of an Agile Development Team.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, and testing software solutions that meet customer needs.
• Writing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using the C# programming language.
• Performing unit testing and debugging to ensure code meets specifications.
• Collaborating with the Agile Development Team to deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Participating in Agile activities like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong background in Software Development, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Prior professional experience demonstrating proficiency in the C# programming language.
• Proven expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies with excellent communication skills for effective teamwork across Agile Development Teams.
• Current DOD-Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience developing software solutions for Military Communications Satellite systems.
• Expertise in designing and implementing software solutions using technologies like Microservices, C#, Active MQ, N-Unit Testing, Angular, and Jasmine.
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps Pipelines.
• Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies as they relate to the Scaled Agile Framework.
• Experience with Agile, automated testing, continuous integration, and regression testing.
• Experience with automated test frameworks like Cypress and Postman, continuous integration, and regression testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to software engineering solutions.
• Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications / Ground subsystems.
Important Notes:
• This position requires a government security clearance, so US citizenship is mandatory.
• The position is based onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in King of Prussia, PA.
• Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, including 9×80 every other Friday off.
