Software Development Intern | CMG Worldwide
The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at CMG Worldwide, located in Beverly Hills, California. CMG Worldwide operates a growing talent management business, focusing on entertainment, business affairs, licensing, and brand development. This role is crucial for planning and building essential internal business platforms, including CRM, financial management, and productivity tools. The intern will have significant ownership over technical direction and work product, directly shaping applications that will be used company-wide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan and structure the development of internal CRM and financial management platforms.
• Contribute to full-stack development across frontend, backend, database, authentication, and product logic.
• Review, debug, and improve code with maximum efficiency, leveraging AI-assisted workflows.
• Translate business needs from senior leadership into clear technical specifications.
• Design workflows for client records, deal tracking, outreach, tasks, reporting, and financial data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, preferably as a junior or senior.
• Experience: Demonstrated full-stack development experience through internships, jobs, freelance work, or serious personal projects, including building and deploying modern web applications. Experience using AI coding tools and critically reviewing AI-generated code.
• Skills: Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with backend logic, databases, authentication, secure data handling, GitHub, and modern development workflows. Deep understanding of end-to-end full-stack development processes and exceptional communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bonus: Experience with Supabase, Postgres, Firebase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Google Workspace APIs, CRM tool development, finance dashboards, or workflow automation.
