Job Title: Social Worker Internship Director

Role Summary:
The Social Worker Internship Director holds a critical leadership role at Northeast Family Services, working in partnership with the senior leadership team and the VP of New York. The primary function is to provide Clinical Supervision to graduate students, playing a key part in advancing their experience, skills, and careers within the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision: Provide direct clinical supervision to graduate student interns.
Program Oversight: Assist in the daily oversight and operations of the internship program, encompassing outpatient, in-home therapy, and therapeutic mentoring work.
Documentation Review & Approval: Responsible for reviewing and approving clinical assessments and treatment plans, and helping to compose and approve diagnostic formulations for intern cases.
Direct Client Care: Maintain a personal caseload, providing direct care services to in-home and outpatient clients.

Qualifications:
Required:
Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of New York (LCSW).
• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related human services field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience providing direct treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Proficiency with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle.
Preferred:
• Experience in quality management.
• Training experience.
Bilingual English / Spanish.

Full Time – Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 / Year.
