Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team on a part-time, hybrid basis. This exciting role is based in Phoenix, AZ, offering the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Event Sphere Solutions’ online presence and engagement. You will be instrumental in crafting captivating social media content, contributing to the development of our marketing strategies, and assisting with the management of digital campaigns.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to our growth and visibility within the hospitality sector. You will collaborate closely with our team to amplify our brand message and connect with our target audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and design engaging visual and written content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
  • Platform Management: Schedule and publish posts across all active social media channels.
  • Strategy & Campaigns: Assist in brainstorming and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor social media engagement, track key analytics, and report on campaign performance.
  • Audience Engagement: Support community management efforts by responding to comments and messages, fostering a strong online community.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Creative Input: Contribute fresh and creative ideas to continually improve Event Sphere Solutions’ overall online presence and brand messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Core Skills:
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
    • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing and fundamental Marketing principles.
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics).
    • Experience with content scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Communication & Soft Skills:
    • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Education:
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
