Job Description:

📱 Social Media Intern (Remote | Unpaid)

GlowUp All-Creators Studio (GlowUp ACS) is seeking a Social Media Intern to help manage social platforms, curate engaging content, and support digital audience growth — with a particular focus on assisting one of their executives in building and nurturing an online community around their writing career.

What You’ll Do:

• Help plan, draft, and schedule social media content tailored to each platform (Twitter/X, Tumblr, Instagram, Discord, newsletters, emerging platforms, etc.)
• Monitor platform trends, hashtags, and community conversations.
• Assist with engagement: responding to comments, DMs, community prompts.
• Research content trends, fandom-adjacent topics, and audience insights.
• Organize digital assets and help maintain content calendars.
• Collaborate on campaigns and special engagement projects.
• Support online community management for writing-focused spaces.

Ideal Candidate:

• Deep familiarity with digital culture and online fandom spaces (Discord, Tumblr, Twitter, etc.).
• Active social media user who understands voice, tone, and content style per platform.
• Strong written communication skills and a good “feel” for engaging content.
• Tech-savvy — able to pick up new platforms and tools quickly (Google Suite, Canva, Notion, scheduling platforms, etc.).
• Proactive, reliable, organized, and a collaborative communicator.
• No formal education or marketing background required — being online-savvy, adaptable, and a great communicator is most important.

Logistics:

• Unpaid / volunteer position; eligible for college credit or recommendation letters.
• Mentorship opportunity — work directly with an executive at GlowUp ACS.
• Flexible, remote-first — hours per week on your own schedule.
• International applicants welcome.
• Internship length: 3-4 months with potential for extension.
