Job Description
GlowUp ACS is seeking a Social Media Intern to help manage social platforms, curate engaging content, and support digital audience growth. A particular focus will be on assisting one of their executives in building and nurturing an online community around their writing career.
What You’ll Do
• Help plan, draft, and schedule social media content tailored to each platform (Twitter/X, Tumblr, Instagram, Discord, newsletters, emerging platforms, etc.)
• Monitor platform trends, hashtags, and community conversations.
• Assist with engagement: responding to comments, DMs, community prompts.
• Research content trends, fandom-adjacent topics, and audience insights.
• Organize digital assets and help maintain content calendars.
• Collaborate on campaigns and special engagement projects.
• Support online community management for writing-focused spaces.
