Job Description: Social Media Intern

Position Summary: The Social Media Intern will be a key player in executing and refining TalentLNX’s social media strategy. This role involves managing content across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X) to maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about building online communities. This internship offers practical experience in a fast-paced environment for those pursuing careers in marketing, communications, or media.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content (graphics, short-form video, carousels, written captions) across all major social media platforms.
• Maintain a structured content calendar using tools like Later, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and CapCut.
• Monitor content performance, compile engagement metrics, and use data to inform future strategy.
• Repurpose existing content into new formats to broaden reach and engagement.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages.
• Collaborate on campaign ideas and contribute to expanding TalentLNX’s digital footprint.
• Align content initiatives with internal recruiting and business development goals.

Qualifications:

• Background or current involvement in Marketing, Communication, Media, or a related field (formal education, self-learning, or practical experience).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
• Experience using tools like Canva, Later, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a focus on tone, clarity, and creativity.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of independent work in a remote setting.
• Availability to work 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing or growing a personal/professional social media account.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and content performance reporting.
• Understanding of professional services, healthcare, or recruiting industries.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different platforms and brand guidelines.
