They create tastefully provocative silhouettes suitable for both day and night wear.

Description: Social Media Intern (Unpaid, with Daily Stipend)

Retrofête is seeking a Social Media Intern to join their NYC-based web team for the Spring 2025 semester. This is an unpaid internship, but a daily stipend is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Social Media Manager with all social media tasks, including:
• Content creation (images, videos, text)
• Story creation (Instagram, etc.)
• Scheduling posts across platforms
• Campaign planning and execution
• Managing multiple social media accounts
• Develop a thorough understanding of the Retrofête brand, including its identity, target customer, goals, and objectives.
• Create engaging and innovative assets for Retrofête’s social media channels and other managed accounts.
• Track social media engagement metrics to identify successful campaigns and content, analyzing performance data.
• Stay current on the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Actively research and identify inspiration from cultural and industry trends to ensure that the brand’s social media presence remains fresh and relevant within the fashion industry.

Currently pursuings/Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Ability to manage and engage online communities while maintaining brand voice and awareness.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Canva.
• Ability to grasp and apply brand language, identity, concept, and aesthetic.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and brands concurrently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
Passion for the fashion industry and a keen awareness of current trends.
