Job Description – Social Media Intern
MAËLYS is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join their team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in social media, content creation, and marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute engaging video content across social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, including trending audios and memes.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Team to ideate social campaigns, trends, and content.
• Analyze the competitive social and beauty landscape and contribute fresh, creative ideas.
• Create competitive trends and research reports.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous internship experience in social media, marketing, beauty, or social video production is preferred but not required.
• A strong interest in the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in content creation, editing, and writing.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A reliable, positive, self-motivated, and adaptable personality.
• A keen understanding of TikTok trends and the social media landscape.
• The ability to quickly adjust to new tasks and challenges with a positive attitude.
Compensation:
• $16.50 per hour
• 10-15 hours per week, depending on school schedule.
