Job Description: Social Media Intern
The Social Media Intern position is based within the Creative Services Department and is designed to enhance Heaven Hill’s brand presence across digital platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects while building a diverse creative and digital portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and How You Will Spend Your Time:
1. Social Media Content Creation & Support:
• Develop and adapt graphics, templates, and visual assets for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Assist with content planning by organizing visual assets for content calendars and campaigns.
• Support the execution of social media campaigns for brand launches, events, or corporate initiatives.
• Ensure all creative assets adhere to brand standards, visual identity, and messaging guidelines.
• Research current trends and monitor competitive activity in the digital space.
• Potential to write copy for social media posts, depending on skillset.
2. Digital Asset Management:
• Support the organization and maintenance of digital asset libraries, templates, and creative archives.
3. Professional Development:
• Present creative concepts, social content ideas, and project work to internal teams.
• Deliver a final presentation to the Executive Leadership Team, summarizing project contributions and key learnings from the internship.
• Participate in workshops, networking opportunities, and cross-functional exposure events provided by the program.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
• Strong interest in social media, digital storytelling, and brand engagement.
• A creative thinker with strong visual, layout, and typography skills. Copywriting experience is considered a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively incorporate feedback.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required to:
• Stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling objects and computer use, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
