About the Job (Detailed Description)

The Brand and Communications team at Hudl is seeking a current university student for a role focused on social media. This individual will be instrumental in creating engaging social media campaigns.

Your Role:
The primary responsibilities involve:
• Utilizing visual assets and compelling copy to create exciting social media campaigns.
• Engaging in community management, active engagement, and monitoring across platforms.
• Ensuring the right message is delivered at the optimal time to the target audience.
• This is an in-person role, requiring candidates to live within commuting distance of Hudl’s headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. The company offers a flexible work policy to accommodate class schedules.

Must-Haves (Required Qualifications):
Well-written and engaging: The ability to quickly integrate sports knowledge and cultural wit into crafting engaging messages that align with Hudl’s brand and style guidelines.
Social media savvy: A strong interest in social media with practical experience in sharing and engaging on various platforms. Proficiency in managing brand, business, or organizational accounts (beyond personal ones) is essential.
Audience advocate: Understanding the importance of connecting engaging content with the correct audience, with a focus on supporting, interacting with, and building online communities.
Dedicated to video content creation and distribution: A keen interest in following sports media outlets and other content creators for inspiration in video content.
Creative: The capacity for innovative “outside-the-box” thinking, with excitement for new app updates and tailoring content to leverage them.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with editing and graphics software: Familiarity and skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere) or Canva.
Data-driven: The ability to measure audience engagement and use the results to inform adjustments in content and timing.
Collaboration skills: Readiness to challenge oneself and the content, and effectively work with other stakeholders to achieve goals.

Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this role is between $15 and $15.50 USD. The specific rate will be determined by the candidate’s academic standing (year in school) at the start of the internship.
