About the Company:
The company is a creative agency that manages social media accounts for various entities. It operates with three subsidiary organizations: Chil & Co., Chil Studios, and fourofour, for which the intern will help manage social media presence and aid in marketing campaigns. The agency fosters an environment where interns can become fully immersed in their creative and day-to-day processes. The position is requiring commuting to Atlanta or surrounding areas for in-person productions.

Job Description: Social Media Intern
This is a three-month internship position (20 hours per week) with the potential to transition into a paid fellowship position upon successful completion.

Role Purpose: The Social Media Intern will gain experience managing social media accounts at a creative agency, working to operate the social media presence and aid in marketing campaigns for the agency’s three subsidiary organizations.
Reporting Structure: The intern will work directly with the Operations Manager, Creative Director, and assist the production team.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Help Us Do):
• Generate original ideas to capture the target audience’s attention.
• Write and edit copy for social media, blog posts, web copy, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in strategizing concepts for internal social accounts.
• Maintain community engagement on various social platforms.
• Ideate and produce phone content.
• Participate in marketing campaigns.
• Schedule and deploy social media posts.
• Work to organically grow social media accounts.
• Analyze and present social media data.
Learning Opportunities (Things You Will Learn):
• How to create content.
• How to read and utilize analytics reports to enhance key performing metrics.
• How to create a successful social media campaign from initial idea to final execution.
• How to create photo and video reels.
Required Skills/Qualifications (The Ideal Candidate Will Have):
• Have or are pursuing a College Degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, or a similar field in Media.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of various social media platforms (Instagram Feed, Stories, Reels, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook).
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates accountability and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must provide a portfolio or examples of previous work or classwork to be considered.
Compensation / Length:
• This is an unpaid internship for a duration of 3 months, requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
• The agency provides a $15 stipend per day for transportation and meals.
• This is a hybrid position; most work is remote, but it requires attendance at in-person productions weekly (commuting to Atlanta or surrounding areas 1-3 times a week).
• If offered the position, candidates will undergo a 5-day remote trial run.
• Upon successful completion of the trial run, the internship position with the daily stipend will be offered.
• By the end of the three-month contract, successful interns will be fully immersed in the agency’s processes and may begin phase two as a paid contractor (fellowship position).
