Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join their marketing team at the University of Florida. The intern will play a key role in promoting the university’s dining program across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the Dining Services social media accounts, including posting regular content, engaging with followers, and responding to inquiries.
• Content Creation: Develop and execute creative social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, events, and promotions.
• Content Strategy: Brainstorm innovative campaign ideas to increase engagement and reach target audiences.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
• Website Maintenance: Assist with updating and managing the Dining Services website.
• Press Release Creation: Draft and share press releases for noteworthy dining news.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other team members to implement social media strategies and ensure consistency across platforms.
• Customer Service: Interact with students, faculty, and staff to provide exceptional service and address inquiries.
• Internal Processes: Learn and utilize internal software systems to streamline operations.
• Reporting: Contribute to the development of performance metric newsletters and reports.
