Job Description:
is offering a 6-month, unpaid, remote internship for a Social Media Editor & Manager. This internship is designed for creative, driven individuals with strong time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Curate 3-7 engaging social media posts daily using articles, video content, and trending topics.
• Trend Sourcing: Identify trending content and apply it to social media output.
• Platform Management: Organize and schedule content using social media management tools.
• Creative Support: Assist with graphic design and video editing for social posts using Canva.
• Pitch Ideas: Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas.
• Learning Opportunity: Gain experience in content strategy, trend tracking, and voice development.
Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in content curation and social media management within an entertainment and lifestyle publication.
• Intermediate proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and innovation in content development.
• Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
• Commitment to completing a 6-month internship.
• Attendance to weekly mandatory Monday Meeting
• Responsiveness in the communication channels
• Strong knowledge of pop culture, entertainment, and lifestyle, or a willingness to learn.
