Job Title: Social Media & Content Intern (Design + Reels Editing)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid model, including some in-studio work, remote work, and occasional presence at client locations).
Compensation: Unpaid Internship
Hours: 15–20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible and can be split across multiple days or worked in a batch-style, depending on the intern’s availability.

Overview:
JEM Studios is seeking a creative and dynamic intern for the summer who possesses skills in design, video editing, and content posting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating “scroll-stopping” digital content.

Key Responsibilities:
• Video Editing: Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Reels and TikTok, including behind-the-scenes (BTS) content and voiceovers.
• Graphic Design: Design branded graphics using Canva, including carousels, Reel covers, and Instagram story posts.
• Social Media Management: Assist with scheduling and posting content on Instagram.
• Copywriting: Draft captions and write engaging social media copy.
• Content Organization: Organize content efficiently within shared Google Drive and Canva folders.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on trending audio, viral content formats, and the latest Instagram updates.

Candidate Requirements:
• Software Proficiency: Fluent in using Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut or native Reels editing features.
• Social Media Savvy: An active user of Instagram and TikTok with an intuitive understanding of what content performs well on these platforms.
• Work Ethic: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys the process of transforming ideas into compelling content.
• Learning Mindset: Eager to learn about social media strategy, content planning, and creative marketing techniques.
