Job Description: Social Media & Community Engagement Intern

This unpaid internship (eligible for class credit) offers the potential for commission and bonuses. The position is remote, with possible light travel. The intern will be a key contributor to Ariventures’ social media presence and community building efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Develop engaging social media content (posts, stories, reels) for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This includes writing compelling captions and using visually appealing formats.
Community Management: Actively engage with followers, respond promptly to messages, comments, and inquiries, fostering a strong online community.
Social Media Scheduling & Analytics: Schedule posts across platforms using scheduling tools and track key engagement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of community-building campaigns focused on study abroad and the ACM Scholarship (details of this scholarship are not provided in the original text).
Educational Content Development: Contribute to the creation of educational materials that highlight cultural exchange and travel opportunities.
Trend Analysis: Research and monitor travel-related trends to inform content strategy and engagement tactics.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Sociology, or a related field.
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly for social media content.
• Strong familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• A creative, proactive approach, combined with a genuine interest in community engagement and travel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience managing social media platforms and utilizing scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
• A solid understanding of audience engagement and online community building techniques.
