Social Media & Brand Marketing Intern | Astra Wear

The Tone:
This is an internship at Astra Wear, located in Los Angeles, CA (hybrid). Astra Wear is a female-founded brand creating Pilates leg-wear and grip socks inspired by movement, wellness, and the women who do it all, combining performance, comfort, and style. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in content creation, influencer marketing, events, and brand building for a growing startup.

• Mission: Support Astra Wear across content creation, social media strategy, influencer partnerships, photoshoots, pop-up events, and day-to-day brand operations to help grow an emerging brand.
• Tech Stack: Canva, TikTok, Instagram

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive social media engagement and growth by planning, creating, and scheduling content for Instagram and TikTok, alongside researching trends and tracking performance.
• Cultivate and manage influencer relationships, including outreach, gifting programs, and partnership coordination.
• Support the production of creative assets for marketing, assisting with photoshoots, content days, and crafting materials in Canva.
• Contribute to brand development by generating ideas for future collections and campaigns, supporting email marketing, product launches, and pop-up events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible for academic credit; passionate about wellness, Pilates, fashion, and social media.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience using Canva, TikTok, and Instagram for content creation and social media management.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; a self-starter with a positive attitude and a proactive willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Reliable transportation for occasional in-person shoots and events in the Los Angeles area.
