The Role: Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is dedicated to managing all athlete communications and CRM processes, ensuring every athlete ambassador enjoys a seamless, professional, and uniquely personal experience with Electro Gum. You will serve as the primary voice of our brand within athlete direct messages and play a crucial part in cultivating our vibrant athlete community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Athlete DM Management: Respond to athlete direct messages daily with exceptional accuracy, speed, and unwavering professionalism.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive athlete relationships through clear, supportive, and engaging communication.
• Athlete Support & Resolution: Efficiently answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) and resolve athlete inquiries utilizing provided playbooks and resources.
• Issue Escalation: Promptly identify and escalate unique requests or complex issues to the founding team for swift and effective resolution.
• CRM Management: Meticulously log and track all athlete interactions and data within our CRM systems (Notion + Social Snowball) to ensure comprehensive records.
• Brand Voice Advocacy: Consistently represent Electro Gum’s brand voice with infectious energy, positivity, and genuine care in every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional Communication: Superior written English and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
• Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of reliability, particularly crucial for flawless athlete onboarding and data management.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable and proficient with Instagram DMs and basic CRM tools.
• Volume Management: Proven ability to effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of athlete communications without compromising quality.
• Passion for Sports (Preferred): A genuine passion for sports, the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape, and athlete culture is a significant advantage, though not strictly required.
