About the Role: Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern to join our expanding team. This pivotal role is centered on managing our extensive athlete communications and CRM processes, ensuring every athlete ambassador experiences a seamless, professional, and personalized journey with Electro Gum. You will serve as the primary voice of our brand within athlete direct messages and play a crucial part in cultivating our vibrant athlete community.

Key Responsibilities

• Athlete Communications: Respond to athlete direct messages (DMs) daily with impeccable accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive athlete relationships through clear, empathetic, and supportive communication.
• Support & Resolution: Efficiently answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) and resolve athlete inquiries utilizing provided playbooks and resources.
• Issue Escalation: Promptly identify and escalate unique requests or complex issues to the founding team for swift resolution.
• CRM Management: Meticulously log and track all athlete interactions and data within our CRM systems, including Notion and Social Snowball.
• Brand Representation: Consistently represent Electro Gum’s brand voice with infectious energy, unwavering positivity, and genuine care in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Communication Excellence: Outstanding written English and superior communication skills are essential.
• Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Possess strong attention to detail and unwavering reliability, ensuring zero errors in critical processes like athlete onboarding.
• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable and proficient with Instagram DMs and fundamental CRM tools.
• Volume Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of athlete communications.
• Passion for Sports (Preferred): A strong passion for sports, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policies, and athlete culture is preferred, though not strictly required.
