Job Description

Role Title: Unpaid Internship Opportunity: Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern
Job Focus: This role is central to managing Electro Gum’s athlete communication and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). The intern will act as the primary point of contact for athlete ambassadors, ensuring they have a seamless, professional, and personalized experience with the brand. This involves representing Electro Gum’s voice in direct messages and actively contributing to the development of its athlete community.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship opportunity with performance-based growth potential, which may include future pay raises and long-term employment roles.
Location: The internship offers a flexible, remote experience.

Responsibilities:
• Daily Communication: Respond to athlete direct messages (DMs) on a daily basis, ensuring responses are accurate, prompt, and professional.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with athletes through clear, supportive, and engaging communication.
• Support & Issue Resolution: Address frequently asked questions (FAQs) and resolve athlete inquiries or issues by utilizing provided playbooks and guidelines.
• Escalation: Promptly escalate any unique requests or complex issues to the founding team for resolution.
• Data Management: Accurately log and track all athlete interactions within the designated CRM systems, specifically Notion and Social Snowball.
• Brand Representation: Embody and represent Electro Gum’s brand voice with enthusiasm, positivity, and a high level of care in all communications.

Qualifications:
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written English and overall communication abilities are essential.
• Attention to Detail & Reliability: A strong eye for detail and a high degree of reliability are crucial, particularly to ensure accuracy in athlete onboarding processes.
• Technical Comfort: Proficiency and comfort with Instagram DMs and basic CRM tools are required.
• Workload Management: The ability to effectively manage a high volume of athlete communication is necessary.
• Passion (Preferred): A passion for sports, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), and athlete culture is preferred but not mandatory.
