About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Media & Athlete Relations Intern to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on the essential task of managing athlete communications and our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure that every athlete ambassador enjoys a seamless, professional, and genuinely personal experience with Electro Gum. You will serve as the authentic voice of our brand within athlete direct messages and play a crucial part in nurturing and expanding our vibrant athlete community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to athlete direct messages (DMs) across various platforms on a daily basis, maintaining high standards of accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, positive athlete relationships through clear, supportive, and proactive communication.
• Effectively answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) and resolve athlete inquiries using provided playbooks and resources.
• Promptly escalate any unique requests or complex issues to the founding team for swift resolution.
• Meticulously log and track all athlete interactions and data within our CRM systems, including Notion and Social Snowball.
• Consistently represent Electro Gum’s brand voice with infectious energy, unwavering positivity, and genuine care in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written English and communication skills are essential for clear and impactful messaging.
• Possess strong attention to detail and unwavering reliability, ensuring zero mistakes in critical processes like athlete onboarding.
• Comfortable and proficient with Instagram DMs and basic CRM tools.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage a high volume of athlete communication while maintaining quality.
• A passion for sports, Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) regulations, and athlete culture is preferred, but not strictly required.
