The role operates on a mostly hybrid basis, requiring availability for in-person activities within the Los Angeles area. Cases by LJ is dedicated to enabling personal expression through unique phone cases, viewing them as an extension of one’s outfit and personality – fun, whimsical, and an ever-present accessory. This internship is pivotal in translating the brand’s vibrant identity and creative vision into compelling digital content, fostering an engaged community, and ultimately expanding the brand’s presence across key social media platforms. The intern will play a direct role in bringing the brand’s philosophy of self-expression to life for a wider audience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation & Development: Take an active part in conceptualizing, planning, and executing diverse social media content that resonates with the Cases by LJ brand identity. This includes drafting captions, sourcing visuals, and preparing posts that align with the brand’s message of fun and whimsical self-expression.
• Photoshoot Coordination & Support: Provide essential on-site assistance for photo shoots, playing a key role in the successful capture of visual content. This involves helping with styling, prop arrangement, and general logistical support to ensure high-quality imagery that showcases the phone cases effectively.
• Fashion Trend Analysis & Integration: Research and integrate current fashion trends into content themes and visual aesthetics for social media. This responsibility involves ensuring that Cases by LJ’s online presence remains fresh, relevant, and appealing to a fashion-conscious audience.
• Social Media Engagement & Growth: Contribute to strategies aimed at fostering community engagement and expanding the brand’s reach and follower count on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This involves understanding audience preferences and helping to implement tactics for organic growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An aspiring professional or current student with a fervent passion for the fields of social media management and marketing. This individual should be eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, brand-building environment.
• Experience: While not strictly required, a background that includes experience in actively working to grow a social media presence is preferred. This could involve personal projects, previous internships, or volunteer work.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of current fashion trends and the broader fashion industry landscape. The ability to effectively assist in the processes of content creation and physical photo shoots, including organizational and creative support.
• Bonus: Proven practical experience in methods and strategies for organically increasing a social media following or engagement. Additionally, prior hands-on involvement with planning or assisting during photo shoots will be highly advantageous.
