About the Job: Social Media and Digital Strategy Intern
This is an internship role designed for a Social Media and Digital Strategy Intern. It is a hybrid position, primarily based in Chelsea, NY, with the flexibility for some work from home.
Role Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a range of tasks related to digital presence and marketing, including:
• Developing and executing social media campaigns.
• Creating engaging content across various platforms.
• Monitoring social media channels for activity and engagement.
• Analyzing performance metrics of digital initiatives.
• Assisting in the creation and implementation of broader digital marketing strategies.

Candidates should possess:
• Proficiency in various social media platforms and associated tools.
• Experience in content creation and effective copywriting.
• Familiarity with foundational digital marketing strategies.
• Analytical skills to effectively monitor and evaluate campaign performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask efficiently.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Current enrollment in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
What You’ll Do (Detailed Responsibilities):
• Content Creation: Develop high-quality social media posts, graphics, and short-form videos tailored for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other crucial channels.
• Campaign Strategy: Support the creation of both paid and organic campaigns, from the initial ideation phase through execution and performance review.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics such as impressions, click-through rates (CTR), engagement, and follower growth, and compile weekly reports for leadership.
• Website & SEO Support: Assist in refreshing website landing pages, writing copy, and coordinating with design and engineering teams for updates.
• Brand Decks & Pitch Assets: Create digital presentation decks, sales one-pagers, and various visual assets for marketing and recruiting purposes.
• Community Engagement: Professionally and promptly monitor and respond to comments, direct messages (DMs), and audience interactions.
• Ad Hoc Marketing Support: Provide assistance with email campaigns, newsletter builds, and digital advertisement setup as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The company is looking for candidates who are:
• Detail-oriented and creative, demonstrating a strong aesthetic sense for design and branding consistency.
• Comfortable using content creation tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), showing strong formatting and organizational skills.
• Possess an understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, paid social media, Google Ads, and analytics.
• Confident in building presentation decks and presenting digital campaign results.
• Bonus experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and ad platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn).
Indicators of Success:
An intern will be considered successful if:
• Social media channels are consistently updated with polished and engaging content.
• Weekly digital performance reports are delivered cleanly and on time.
• Campaigns are set up correctly with clear tracking mechanisms and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Decks, one-pagers, and other digital assets are produced in a ready-to-use format for the CEO, CFO, and marketing leads.
