Social Media and Design Intern – Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Design Intern. You will play a crucial role in amplifying our mission and engaging our audience through vibrant content and strategic communication.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Collaborate with the Social Media Team to develop and execute engaging content across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This includes crafting compelling captions, creating eye-catching visuals, and contributing to the storytelling of our “Adventure Ted Chronicles” Instagram comic series.
Strategic Communication: Attend bi-weekly “Brain Trust Meetings” over Zoom to participate in discussions shaping our platform’s communication strategies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels.
Design Support: As part of the design team, you will explore the rich history of our products, contributing to the development of new items and special holiday merchandise for our Shopify store.
Fundraising Support: Contribute to fundraising efforts by brainstorming creative ideas and participating in online and offline campaigns.
Storytelling: Play an active role in narrating “Adventure Ted Chronicles,” an Instagram comic series that entertains and raises funds for our core missions.

• Motivation, flexibility, and unwavering work ethic.
• A deep-rooted love for charity work, fundraising, and social media.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong design skills and proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
• Previous internship experience in marketing or social media is a plus.
