Social Media and Design Intern Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Design Intern. In this role, you will play a key part in amplifying our message and connecting with our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Creation: Collaborate closely with the Social Media Team to develop and execute engaging content strategies across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). This includes crafting vibrant posts, stories, and other creative materials to bolster our communication efforts and enhance brand awareness.
Brain Trust Meetings: Actively participate in twice-weekly Brain Trust Meetings via Zoom, offering your insights and collaborating with the team to shape our platform’s communication strategies. Your fresh perspective and creative ideas will be invaluable.
Adventure Ted Chronicles: Play a vital role in the storytelling of “Adventure Ted Chronicles,” a captivating Instagram comic series that follows the superhero adventures of Adventure Ted. Contribute to the development of storylines, characters, and visuals, ensuring each episode entertains while raising funds for our core missions.
Product Design & Innovation: As part of our design team, you will have the opportunity to explore the rich design history of our products at the Childhood Cancer Society Shopify store. Your creativity will be crucial as you envision new product designs and develop special holiday items.
Fundraising & Impact: Witness the impact of our work firsthand! Get involved in fundraising initiatives and celebrate the joy of our wish grants. We encourage you to explore the wish grant reveal with one of our collaborators, @charlotte.a.tucker, and our Adventure Ted Experiences Video for a glimpse into our mission.

Fundraising & Social Media: A deep-rooted love for charity work, fundraising, and social media platforms.
Previous Experience: Previous internship experience in marketing or social media is a plus but not required.
