About the Childhood Cancer Society

The Childhood Cancer Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children battling cancer and their families. We are driven by a shared vision of making the world a better place, and we believe in the power of community, creativity, and fundraising to achieve this goal.

We offer a variety of programs and initiatives, including:

“Adventure Ted Chronicles”: An Instagram comic series featuring the superhero escapades of Adventure Ted, which serves as both entertainment and a fundraiser for our core missions.
Wish Granting: We collaborate with partners like @charlotte.a.tucker to fulfill the wishes of children battling cancer.
Design & Product Development: We create unique products with a rich design history, available on our Shopify store.

Social Media and Design Intern – Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Design Intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both social media and design, while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Social Media Team: Craft vibrant content to bolster our communication efforts across various platforms.
Attend Brain Trust Meetings: Participate in twice-weekly Zoom meetings to shape our platform’s communication strategies.
Storytelling for “Adventure Ted Chronicles”: Play an integral role in developing and executing the creative vision for our Instagram comic series, ensuring each episode effectively entertains and raises funds.
Design Team Collaboration: Explore the rich design history of our products and contribute to the visioning of new products and special holiday items.

Previous Internship Experience: Prior experience in marketing or social media is a plus.
