Job Description: Social Media and Design Intern

We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Design Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children battling cancer while gaining valuable experience in marketing, social media, and design.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Creation: Collaborate closely with the Social Media Team to develop and create engaging content for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). This includes writing captions, designing graphics, and creating videos.
Strategic Planning: Attend bi-weekly Brain Trust Meetings via Zoom to brainstorm and shape our social media strategy, contributing ideas for content themes, campaigns, and collaborations.
“Adventure Ted Chronicles” Storytelling: Play a key role in developing and executing the “Adventure Ted Chronicles” Instagram comic series. Help brainstorm story ideas, write scripts, and contribute to the visual design of the comics.
Design Exploration: As part of the design team, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the history of our products, contribute to the design of new products, and create special holiday items.
Impact Documentation: Assist with capturing and sharing the impact of our work through video and photo documentation, helping us to celebrate success stories and inspire others.

Qualifications:

Passion for Charity Work: A genuine interest in supporting children battling cancer and a strong desire to make a difference in their lives.
Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with excellent writing and storytelling skills.
Creative Design Skills: Experience with design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) and a strong eye for aesthetics.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with diverse individuals and sharing ideas.
Motivation & Work Ethic: Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous Internship Experience: Experience in marketing or social media is a plus, but not required.
