Job Description:
This is a SkillBridge Internship at Palo Verde Generating Station (PVGS) designed for active Service Members of the Armed Forces transitioning to civilian life. The internship provides on-the-job training and integration into the organization, supporting Arizona’s energy needs.
Key Details:
• Date: May 19, 2025
• Location: Tonopah, AZ (Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station)
• Eligibility: Open to active Service Members within six (6) months of separation who have been approved for the SkillBridge program by the Department of Defense and their Chain of Command.
• Compensation: This position does not include compensation or benefits paid by APS. The Service Member will continue to receive benefits from the Department of Defense.
Major Accountabilities:
• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs. May assist in preparing business plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, evaluations, and studies.
• Assists in research, business documentation, studies or technical reviews.
• Conducts analyses, investigations, verifications and summarizes results or findings in written reports or oral presentations.
• Utilizes internal resources to learn business/operations/functions and apply learning in completion of work assignments.
• Coordinates efforts with other disciplines, and/or departments in achieving project goals and task assignments.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Export Compliance: Due to the nature of work at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS) all openings will require applicants to be a U.S. person.
