Job Description: U.S. Active Duty Military SkillBridge Fellow/Intern

This opportunity is exclusively for U.S. Active Duty Military SkillBridge candidates only. It offers a unique chance to transition from military service by embedding candidates within Verterra Energy’s functional and cross-functional teams, directly supporting their primary product, Volturnus.

As a SkillBridge fellow or intern, you will be equipped, trained, and treated as an integral part of the team. The ideal program length is between 90 and 150 days, though flexibility with timelines is possible. An individualized SkillBridge Plan will be created for each candidate to ensure they acquire or enhance relevant skills, gain valuable experience, and achieve the exposure necessary for a successful transition into the civilian workforce.

Candidates will be matched to teams within engineering and operations, actively participating in day-to-day events and tasks. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain or deepen experience in specialized domains such as:
Marine Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Program Management

You will have the opportunity to work for and alongside experts in these fields.

Relocation:
This opportunity requires relocation to the Greater Minneapolis area. The cost of relocation will be covered by Verterra Energy upon the offer being extended and accepted.

Requirements:
BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical degree.
Excellent analytical skills.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
US Citizenship is required.
