About the Job: Site Infrastructure Launch Intern

This internship within Zipline’s Business Operations team focuses on optimizing the company’s collaboration with property owners for the installation of its P2 infrastructure systems (towers and docks). The role is crucial for supporting the launch and scaling of Zipline’s Platform 2.

Responsibilities:

Framework Development: Assist in creating a comprehensive deployment framework including steps, timelines, and assigned roles.
Landlord Sourcing: Work cross-functionally to identify and engage potential landlords for infrastructure installations.
Engagement Strategy Refinement: Collaborate on improving pitch materials and strategies for interacting with property owners.
Operational Gap Identification: Identify and address shortcomings in site infrastructure deployment readiness.
Deployment Plan Contribution: Contribute to the creation of a preliminary deployment plan, detailing roles, responsibilities, and interdependencies.
Dependency Analysis: Analyze crucial operational dependencies for scaling the landlord-driven approach to infrastructure deployment.
Scalability Requirements: Evaluate and document the key requirements needed for expanding this program on a larger scale.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in project management, infrastructure deployment, or operational strategy.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated, capable of taking ownership of projects.
• Ability to work onsite in South San Francisco for the duration of the internship (May-August 2025).

The internship is full-time and offers a competitive hourly rate ($32-$36/hour) with potential additional compensation including overtime pay, commuter benefits, and paid sick time.
