This Director role within Kroll Settlement Administration is vital for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of critical legal documentation and processes in class action, mass tort, and regulatory claims administration, supporting clients worldwide. What You’ll Actually Do
• Declaration Management: Oversee the drafting and meticulous review of declarations and affidavits, ensuring adherence to templates, statistical accuracy, and identifying potential legal or operational issues prior to legal review.
• Notice & Website Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and edits of all notices (long/short form) and websites, verifying date accuracy, timeline consistency, and ensuring online claim forms function correctly and import data reliably into proprietary systems.
• Claim Form Development: Create detailed “long form” or “short form” claim forms for clients by accurately translating information from settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• CAFA Notice Coordination: Manage the drafting and distribution of Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA) notices in collaboration with project teams and counsel, tailoring them to specific engagement data and particulars.
• Pre-Assignment Case Review: Act as a critical liaison between business development and client services, scrutinizing client proposals against initial engagement documents to confirm scope, volumes, and rates, resolving inconsistencies, and preparing initial case kick-off materials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience in legal services, financial services, or corporate compliance.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience, strongly preferred, with proven experience working with legal documentation in a professional setting.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems, advanced capabilities in drafting, editing, and proofreading formal documents, and the ability to adhere to structured workflows and consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Bonus: Familiarity with court or public record systems such as PACER or ECF, experience conducting legal or case-related research, proven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
